I was born in Germany, raised in the US by my American father and German mother, and moved every few years due to my father's job. I went to university to study music and then spent 10 years trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. In 2004, I finally figured it out! I quit my job as a school bus driver and enrolled in university to become a primary school teacher. In 2005, I married my husband and three years later, we moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. We moved to Berlin in 2011.

I love singing, biking, camping, canoeing, and making the world a better place. I have been teaching with joy and passion since 2008. I live in Schöneberg with my husband and daughter.
